Always follow the specific instructions on your prescription carefully. Timing matters; some ADHD medications are designed to be taken strictly in the morning (especially long-acting stimulants, to prevent sleep issues), while others can be taken more than once a day or later in the afternoon. Most ADHD medications do not need to be taken with food unless your provider specifically directs you to.
